Medical Warning Card
The ASA have developed a Medical Warning Card for ASA members to give to patients who have had either a significant airway problem or an adverse reaction to an anaesthetic.
This credit card sized card should be given to patients to keep in their wallets. This Medical Warning Card is double sided and contains information about the hospital, the anaesthetist’s name and the patient’s details for future reference.

The Anaesthetic Event Report Form has been created to be used in conjunction with the Medical Warning Card and should be filed with the patients notes.
